“ A small isle of Ukraine in the heart of Santa Monica Come here to experience some ethnic spirit and to get some really delicious pickles and sausages! Indeed, american sausages and pickles are not at all like RussianUkrainian. You have to taste them to understand the difference. In fact, if you ask, the staff would be happy to cut you a little piece of any deli they have, so that you could choose. The staff are very polite and cheerful, even though they may look a bit grumpy at first this is just a national trait of the russian character. All you have to do is to be polite yourself, tell them a story, and they would be your best friends! Once you become friends, they would always tell you whether the food you are choosing is fresh or not really and when they are expecting new deliveries or what are their own favorite products. This is truly a very specific experience of shopping you would never get at Vons or Wholefoods!! ”

Try the Kievski tort if you want something authentic its a Ukrainianstyle cake thats made with nuts and a little drier than American types. For all the people crying because it doesnt only have Ukrainian products, most stores are Slavic stores with a mix from different countries. So no, youre never going to find a store thats only Ukrainian or only Russian because people in those regions eat similar things. Take your politics elsewhere instead of trying to bring down a small business with your narcissistic virtue signaling. ”
“ I visited this store for the first time yesterday and am so happy I found it! Great RussianUkrainian store with all my favorite products. Prices are reasonable and they dont upcharge like many Russian stores in LA. Fun little trinkets and gifts are here too! The owner was super nice to me and helped me find what I wanted. I asked her questions about products and she was pleasant and helpful. Im going to be shopping here from now on to buy my perogi, jams, spices, candies, halva, etc! Its small inside but they have all the Russian staples. So happy I found this place and glad I can support a small business! ”
